A native of Pebble Beach, Sarah traveled the world before settling into ten years in the corporate banking industry. During lunch hours she went to the gym to work off the stress of her job.
“I was introduced to Pilates and strength training as part of my workout regimen,” Sarah explains. In 2008, her husband Robert gave her a gift certificate for Pilates Equipment classes. “I remember how I felt driving back
to work after my first Pilates class. I felt my posture had improved, and I was more aligned!“
Soon Sarah was in classes 3 – 5 days per week and discovered her true calling. She started Pilates Certification Training, and within three months after earning her credentials, she left the banking world to begin her career as a Pilates instructor and trainer.
When working with clients, Sarah follows the techniques and principles of two renowned Pilates philosophies: BASI – a program focusing on precision, flow, and breathing, and POLESTAR – a regimen used to aid in physical therapy.
Sarah offers Pilates classes and group and individual strength training sessions, and she especially enjoys empowering and motivating clients to make investments
in their growth and personal achievements.
“Pilates is all about correcting your body’s alignment by strengthening and lengthening muscles. Proper body alignment and movement are both key to living healthy and pain free. Nothing is more satisfying to me than working with people who have come to me as their last hope, helping them return to a healthy lifestyle and work towards achieving their physical potential.”
